Passata and roasted peppers make a rich, smoky base, coupled with herbs and spices, and some sugar to add sweetness. Chipotle, habanero and a few Scorpion chillis to crank up the heat a little higher.

Amazing in a Bloody (or Virgin) Mary, great for flavour bombs on pizza, put a scrape across your toast before you put your cheese on top and whack it under the grill. Have a dollop with eggs. Throw some in your chili con carne, spice up your cottage pie, or just add some wherever you want a tasty kick.
