We've had a few customers suggesting that we take our super-tasty, mild, fruity sauce, Feartie, and add some kick to it...

Well, we think we might have cracked it. All that smoky, sweet, fruity deliciousness of Feartie, but with a nice, clean kick - it probably sits somewhere between Bampot and Roaster, heat-wise. In other words, like all our flavours, it's all about tasty flavour first, not blowing your head off.

Our latest flavour, Nippy Sweetie, is already one of our very best sellers. Fresh, light, fruity and different, it's sort of a mash-up between dressing and a mild-medium hot sauce. Pineapple and ginger, with some subtle top-notes of fresh basil and pink peppercorns make this a fun and versatile addition to our line-up.

Pair it with halloumi salad, grilled chicken, fish tacos, drizzle over your pizza, add olive oil for a yummy salad dressing, or mix it 50/50 with mayo for a delicious fruity dip.

And it also won a silver medal in this year's National Chilli Awards. Just sayin'...

Great British Food Awards 2025 Finalists!

There's a lesson in here for all of us, really. 

When we started this daft little experiment (all because a friend told us the sauce we were making as a hobby was his favourite), we were a little sceptical about whether people would actually pay us for it. 

Then we slowly started to experiment with more flavours, taking Bampot as our initial 'medium' sauce, and building out a milder one (Feartie), and a hotter one (Roaster). Then we went a little nuts, and over the next 8 months we came up with 4 more flavours, to our current range of 7.

And people still come and try them at our stalls at farmers markets and festivals, and very often buy them too. That's the REAL feedback for us - real people coming back and telling us they love our flavours.

But, it's also very gratifying when we get feedback from industry experts that they like our stuff. And now we've got not one but two flavours of our sauces in the finals of the Great British Food Awards 2025 - Feartie and Stoater. 

So, when you have those moments when you think 'I'm not good enough', we hear you - but you can also tell yourself 'Why not me? Why couldn't it be me being successful? If I don't try, I'll never find out.' Jump in - give it a go!
